There was just a hint of our previous snow still on the ground when it started to snow late Christmas Day. There are drifts of six inches or so, just enough to make my Corgi delight in its depth. It's been snowing lightly fairly steadily since. Isn't it just lovely? I can romanticize it since we don't get a whole lot here and it usually lasts only a few days.
